I have come, " said a deep voice behind them. They turned and saw the Lion himself, so bright and real and strong that everything else began at once to look pale and shadowy compared with him.

C.s. Lewis
I have come,
I have come,
I have come,
I have come,
About This Quote

In the book "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe", as the children are running from the White Witch, they come across a lion. This lion appears to be a spirit of sorts, as he can talk and does not have a physical body. However, the children believe that the lion is real because he can talk and walk among them. When they realize that he is a spirit, they summon their inner strength and speak to him as though he were a living being. They say "We have come." They also say "We have come to you." This shows that even though someone may be a spirit or an otherworldly being, they can still connect with others on a human level.
